How it works
Four stages, in the order you live them.
-
Start from your problem
A line that keeps stopping, scrap, a changeover that drags on. The matrix takes you from what you observe to the tool that addresses it.
Open the matrix -
Read in short steps
Five minutes each, finishable between two meetings. A method to follow, a worked example from the shop floor, the mistake everyone makes, and the criterion that tells you it worked.
-
Check what you retained
The closing quiz sets shop-floor situations, not definitions. Every answer is explained: it is there to teach, not to filter.
-
Leave with proof
A completed topic earns a certificate with a verifiable serial number you can show. Your progress is kept from one session to the next.

Value Stream Mapping - VSM
Map a value stream from end to end, measure its lead time, spot the inventory and waiting that inflate it, then draw a target state at takt time and turn it into a dated roadmap.
-
OEE - Overall Equipment Effectiveness
Measure the OEE of a workstation with its three components, read it to identify the first loss to address, and avoid the practices that make the approach fail.
-
Takt Time
Calculate the takt time of a line from customer demand and actual working time, compare it to the cycle times of the workstations and draw the first shop-floor decisions from it: where the bottleneck is, how many operators, when to recalculate.
-
The Standard
Write, post at the workstation and keep alive a one-page standard that sets the best known way to run an operation, serves to train a newcomer and turns every observed deviation into a problem to solve.
-
SMED: Quick changeover
Cut a machine's downtime between two production runs by at least half, by observing a real changeover, separating what is done with the machine stopped from what is done with the machine running, then locking the new method into a standard that is tracked over time.
-
Poka-Yoké
Poka-Yoké makes human error impossible or visible at the workstation, before it becomes a defect: this topic teaches you how to spot a recurring error, design a simple mistake-proofing device, test it and keep it alive.
Built for the shop floor
Written for team leaders, process technicians and maintenance managers. No theory without use: every notion comes with what you do with it.

Frequently asked questions
Is the academy paid?
No. Access to every topic, quiz and certificate is free, with no subscription and no card. The account only keeps your progress from one session to the next and issues the certificate in your name.
How long does one topic take?
Twenty to thirty minutes in total, split into five-minute steps you can finish separately. Your progress is kept: you pick up where you left off.
Do I need Lean knowledge to start?
No. Each topic starts from a shop-floor situation and explains the vocabulary the first time it appears. If you do not know where to begin, start from the matrix: it goes from what you observe to the tool that addresses it.
Is the certificate worth anything?
It carries a serial number anyone can verify, with no account. It is not a diploma: it is proof that you followed the topic and passed its quiz — in at most three attempts, with questions drawn in a different order each time.
Can I switch language along the way?
Yes, at any time, from the selector at the top of the page. Your progress follows — it is attached to the step, not to the language you read it in.
